A bed duvet cover is a type of bedding commonly used in Europe. Also called a quilt cover or simply duvet, it is a soft bag filled with down, feathers, wool or the like. There exists a phrase "Duvet Day" that is used in certain countries pertaining to an allowance of some time off, a few days in a year, that gives employees the freedom to stay home from work for no good reason like being ill.
